Frequently Asked Questions

When to use skincare facial oils?

We advise that the best time to apply face oil is as the last step of your skincare routine in the evening. Our Active Super Oil is the perfect addition to your skincare regime as it contains seventeen omega-rich plant oils to nourish and moisturise skin and provide it with vitamins that offer powerful antioxidant action.

Is olive oil good for skin?

Olive oil moisturises skin and fights bacteria. It is naturally high in squalene, an oil that mimics your skin’s natural sebum, so it will leave your skin feeling smooth and soft. It also contains antioxidants that will help to combat environmental damage to the skin. However, olive oil is quite a heavy oil so used alone it can clog your pores leading to breakouts. Instead, we would recommend you use an oil specifically formulated for use on the face such as our Active Super Oil which contains seventeen omega-rich plant oils to nourish and moisturise the skin.

What face oil is good for oily skin?

Our Active Super Oil is great for all skin types, including oily skin, as the texture is light and it absorbs quickly. It contains seventeen omega-rich plant oils with antibacterial, antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. They work together to soothe and hydrate the skin, helping to repair and maintain the moisturisation barrier. Vitamins A, C and E offer powerful antioxidant protection from cell damage and Vitamin K from Prickly Pear helps to brighten skin.
